Huddersfield bar uses TV-VESTS to entice customers in
Huddersfield Daily Examiner, 18 October 2008
'Staff will walk the streets of Huddersfield wearing their unusual garments to advertise the bar’s offers and events.
They are thought to be the first used in Huddersfield, although TV vests have been worn in other towns as nightclub chain Luminar Leisure is using them across the nation.
The hi-tech invention is distributed in the UK by only one supplier, Harrogate-based TV Vests. They have only been made available to venues in the past few months.
Rock Cafe manager Richard Downey said: “You need a licence to put out flyers. There’s the mess and flyers are not very eco-friendly.' |
